"Farr Flyer" is a proven fast and comfortable blue water Pilothouse yacht designed by Bruce Farr and built in our yard on the West Coast of Sweden in 2002. The original owner sailed the yacht from Europe to the east coast of Australia via the Panama Canal, carrying out an extensive engine overhaul in 2010, including pulling the prop shaft and dropping the rudder to overhaul the bearings in 2010. The current owner bought the yacht in Australia and took her around the world and she is now back in Brisbane and available for viewing.
Farr Flyer has a particularly light and airy pilothouse, large internal volume, cavernous deck storage, great machinery access and a palatial aft cabin. These attributes combined with the above average performance and strength for which Farr designs are world renowned truly make Farr Flyer an ideal go anywhere cruising yacht.
Farr Flyer was built with the standard high quality Swedish mahogany interior finish with a four cabin two heads layout and a passageway galley between the aft owners’ cabin and the pilothouse saloon.
The current owner has kept the mechanical systems in great condition with a comprehensive rolling maintenance program.
