INTRODUCTION:
HOMARUS is traditional Stanley lobster yacht design and built by John Williams Boat Company in Maine. She beautiful dayboat with overnight accommodations for a weekend of coastal cruising, and entertains beautifully with ample deck space and seating. Her hull is solid fiberglass, a keel protects her running gear and adds stability and tracking enhancing her good ride. Stunning red hull paint, varnished teak accents, teak decks, and an Herreshoff-style interior accentuate her style.
This past winter Hinckley Yacht Service completed many projects including a Garmin electronics suite, converted the fixed windshield to an opening center section, painted the decks, installed a new opening cabin hatch, added a cabin heater, and numerous small and often overlooked items. Her original engine was replaced in 1999 with a quieter, more powerful gas engine.
