This Selene 60 trawler yacht is a completely new design from an entirely new mould. She is the perfect transitional yacht between the successful Selene 53 series (53/55/57) and the Selene 62 series (62/66).
The new Selene 60 features a full-height engine room, a separate crew's quarters aft, European transom, and a full-width utility room for work, storage, electrical systems, freezer, and washer/dryer. An expansive and functional F/B layout has been incorporated to include a U-shaped sofa with a cabinet for BBQ, sink and a smaller refrigerator.
Boasting a displacement of 123,000 lbs (54 metric tons) and built to CE open ocean class A standards, the Selene 60 has the range, strength, and stability to cross oceans. Yet with a draft of 5'8" she is also at home in shallow tropical waters or some rivers and creeks. She can reach a top speed of 10 knots and has a range of 2,500 nautical miles cruising at comfortable cruise speed of 9 knots.
The settee moulded in to the cockpit creates a gracious space for relaxation under way or at the dock. The European transom with inset swim platform puts the Selene 60 into the mini megayacht class. An optional FRP hardtop enhances both the functionality and profile of this graceful yacht.
