ICE BREAKER is one of New Zealand's most successful 40-foot racing yachts in the last 8 years.
She was built by McConaghy Boats in China. A composite build with foam core and comes with twin carbon wheels and carbon mast. Well maintained, with all the go-fast gear and regular upgrades completed. In 2017 Ice Beaker had a New Fast 40, Jason Ker designed, and McConaghy Boats manufactured keel fitted. CNC Milled Hollow Steel Keel (700kg weight reduction). 3m draft. Harken Pedestal added in 2016 driving 2 x Harken 50.3 STR UD winches, allowing for high-speed hoists, gybing and drops. New UDeck cockpit non-skid foam 2019. Hall rig fully serviced 2019 with addition of masthead halyard lock for new North 3DI MH0. Great North sail wardrobe with plenty of safety gear.
