Description

The Lien Hwa 42 is built on a conventional modified V- hull with moderate transom deadrise, a sharp entry and generous beam.

This spacious two stateroom floor plan is arranged with the salon overlooking the galley and dinette below. The salon is open and airy with lots of natural light. The interior is completely finished with an abundance of well crafted teak woodwork. There is plenty of fresh air ventilation with opening side windows and the two doors to the salon. There is also air conditioning/heating throughout the vessel.

Merlin sleeps 6 in two staterooms, salon and dinette. The salon has a sea foam beige  leather sofa with two barrel chairs opposite. The helm is on the starboard side with an access door to the side deck. Parquet flooring throughout the vessel.. The headroom is 6’4” throughout most of the yacht. The galley and dinette are forward of the salon and down 3 steps.

Forward of the galley is the VIP guest stateroom with a v-berth, upholstered seat,  hanging locker and drawers. There is an ensuite head with vanity sink, all round shower and Sealand electric vacuum toilet.

The owner's stateroom is all the way aft. It has a king size bed and lots of storage drawers, closet and cabinets.  The ensuite head has a stall shower, vanity sink and Sealand vacuum electric toilet.

The spacious sundeck is 3 or 4 steps up from the salon. It has a hard top with removable Makrolon  side panels, teak overlay flooring. There is a hot & cold wet bar.Lots of room for various furniture arrangements. Fiberglass swim platform off the transom with a swim ladder and a hot & cold shower fixture. Hand rails on the swim platform

The fly bridge is 3 steps up from the sundeck. The helm is forward. All necessary engine controls and instruments are protected by a canvass bimini top with Makrolon side panels. New captains chair swivels & reclines. There is built in seating for 8-10 guests.
. The fiberglass radar arch is hinged for easy removal if one wishes to transport the yacht by truck.

The dinghy is on chocks on top of the sundeck with a S/S electric hoist.
