When approaching "Summer Wind" she has a very sleek, stylish look about her. Her hull is white gel-coat with a two tone deck. Her foredeck is clean with wide side decks with the shrouds set inboard providing easy access to the foredeck and tighter sheeting angle. At the bow is a large anchor locker with double anchor roller. The cockpit is quite larger with great seating (seats and back have smooth flowing curve for comfort). There is a large locker port and starboard with a large 2 tank propane locker beneath the helm seat. The transom has a molded in swim platform with a split stern rail to provide easy access from the water. A dodger, bimini, pedestal steering, autopilot and instrumentation complete the cockpit.
As you descend the companionway you're greeted by a bright airy salon/ galley/ nav area. To port is a large U-shaped galley with ample storage both above and below the counter. There is a large top load refrigerator for perishables, cooking is handled buy a two burn propane stove w/ oven as well as a built in microwave. For clean up there is a large double bowl stainless steel sink.
To starboard is a large nav table with the 120v. electric breaker panel, all 12v. breaker panels and all of the electronics.
Just forward of this area is a large salon with a double drop leaf table. To port is large U-shaped settee (converts to double berth) with straight line settee to starboard with a storage cabinet with draws at the forward end of settee with a flat screen tv and stereo above.
Just forward of the salon to port is a large head with a separate shower/ head space that is located separate from the sink area . Across from the head there is a very large hanging locker.
Then the forward cabin, this has a large V-berth with storage cabinets to both port and starboard and a seat to port. This cabin has plenty of headroom (6'-2") and storage as well as natural light and ventilation. (V-berth measures 6'-6".)
Owners stateroom was held for last. The cabin has a large double berth that runs athwartship, storage provided by a large hanging locker. When entering the cabin there is a seat with a pull-out sink located just above and a toilet hidden beneath. (Owners berth 4'6" by 7'-0")
The entire boat is beautifully finished with an abundance of teak and teak trim. The cabin sole is teak and holly and all soft goods are in excellent condition. This boat has been well taken care of through out and is ready to go.
