Classic fiberglass IOD located in Marblehead, and part of the fleet here in town. She comes with many sails, some being new, but all in good shape. She comes on a Triad Trailer which is road ready.
She is a great boat for racing in the IOD fleets, and can be modified to satisfy any local fleet. As well, she can be a good day boat for a day on the bay with family and friends.
The International One Design Class was conceived to build, maintain and race a fleet of "One-Design Yachts, distinctive in appearance and performance, using one-design racing, and especially to develop the competitive capacities of both helmsmen and crews under the fairest and most equal conditions." This is from the IOD website.

General information
The following information is taken from International One Design fleet websites, for class information.
CITIUS is a fiberglass boat built in 1975, and is Hull # 107, and was built to compete in the Marblehead fleet.
The International Class sloop was designed to be pleasing to the eye and addictive to the heart, and our fleet is a fun-loving community of all ages, backgrounds and abilities who share a love of the class and the competition.
The International class sloop was created by the legendary American yachtsman, Cornelius Shields as he sought to create a new one design yacht for the Amorita Cup series of team races between Bermuda and Long Island Sound. While in Bermuda one spring, he looked out at the beautiful Bermudian 6-Meter, Saga, owned by Eldon and Kenneth Trimingham, and knew instantly that he had seen the prototype of a beautiful racing class that would stand the test of time.
Shields commissioned Saga's designer-builder, Bjarne Aas of Frederikstad, Norway, to design a thirty-three foot version for one-design racing. The result is a beautiful reminder of yachting's "golden age" with the traditional meter-boat's long overhangs, graceful sheer, deep, narrow hull and lofty rig.
