Of the numerous motor yacht models Hatteras has presented, the 80 may just be the most successful. The 80 Hatteras has an attractive profile, genius space planning, both owner and crew friendly, and a most capable sea boat. And if considering one of these desirable vessels, your search isn’t complete until you go aboard VARSITY JACKET
VARSITY JACKET is a name well recognized and respected in the yachting fraternity. There have been 8 previous vessels under the same moniker and ownership, each one better than the previous. This amazing 80’ Hatteras motor yacht is clearly the preeminent of the VJ fleet. (She was purchased new by current Owner whose wife, Interior Designer Jodi Holloway, is solely responsible for the color schemes, and layout of the vessel. She handpicked and templated all of the stones, granites and marbles and designed most of the furniture on the boat. They made five separate trips to the Hatteras facility in Newborn, North Carolina durning the 16 month build period. And, her efforts, were well rewarded with the commissioning of this 1st class yacht.)
Boarding can be from either port or starboard -- forward or aft. Let’s start from the teak covered aft deck which includes built in covered seating @ the transom, with varnished teak table and chairs. Hardtop with A/C lighting and Pioneer Marine waterproof speakers.
