2011, 104’ sailing superyacht SILVER LINING must be sold.
The owner has agreed to substantially reduce the asking price again to US$ 2,500,000 (was US$ 2,800,000) as well as considering all reasonable offers.
SILVERLINE is a 104’ (32M) Sparkman & Stephens designed Cutter Sailing Yacht purposely built to cruise around the world.
Accomodating 8 in 4 cabins she has completed 50,000 NM of bluewater cruising with the owner and his family.
Impeccably maintained by the same Captain and crew who built her, she is ready to leave the dock for another circumnavigation!
Reliable Caterpilar Power (Main Engine and 2x Gensets) are easy to service anywhere in the world.
The Carbon Rig (MAXSPAR) and in boom furling )MARTIN) system provide easy mainsail handling. The duo forestay furlers are Harken (Hydraulic) and the inner forestay furler is Harken Manual.
Silver Lining’s social areas inside and outside are designed for ultimate comfort, protection from the elements and outside chilling.
The large hydraulic stern platform is like a beachclub and suits all watersports activities at anchor.
As part of a comprehensive preventive maintenance schedule, the topsides were recently repainted.
She is a must see for anyone contemplating a serious blue water adventure and could make an excellent charter yacht.
SILVERLINING represents one of the best value proposals in the current market.
The current and first owner is a very experienced cruising yachtsman. From the opportunity to buy the Sparkman and Stephens designed aluminum hull to the very high equipment specification and the meticulous project management during the construction, Silver Lining was conceptualized to be a safe family home for world travels.
After 50,000NM cruising visiting 40+ countries with his family (2 kids) and captain Silver Lining still presents fresh and does not show any unexpected wear and tear. The owner and his family have returned ashore after their 5 years sabbatical and offer Silver Lining for sale.
She has been kept in class (ABS A1) till 2015 but the owner felt that Class was not providing any benefit and let the Class Certificate lapse. This could be reinstated quite easily and the owner is prepared to do this if requested.
Original with dark blue topsides the owner realized that in the hot climates a dark color creates unwanted interior heat and high maintenance topsides. He decided to repaint the hull in a light grey which presents as new.
Compared to the market supply Silver Lining presents exceptional value and being relatively new (2011) she does not require any major refitting. Instead she is ready to sail around the world with a new owner.
