Stepping inside you immediately see this is no average sport fishing boat. The warmth and comfort of her wooden trimmed interior, the quantity of custom built in storage outfitted with quality features like oversized stainless latches and heavy duty draw runners put her firmly in the category of a high end expedition sport fishing boat.
The full service galley is complete with a Princess Electric 3343 stove/oven, microwave, and a huge a Norcold refrigerator with 9CF of fresh food storage for those extended trips. She is even equipped with the luxury of an ice-maker. Across from her galley sits a comfortable settee for 4 that can be converted to sleep 2.
Forward, several steps up you will find a well laid helm area with the kind of view you only get from a raised pilot house. To port is a large navigator’s bench conveniently placed so your crew and captain can keep the conversation going. Just starboard sits well laid out helm controls and electronics with comfortable captain’s seat and deck access through a water tight door. In the V-Berth below the pilot house there is more storage several more sleeping bunks.
The head come equipped with a Techma Electric toilet supported by a 20 Gallon holding tank and y-valve system. There is plenty of hot water for showers and washing dishes with a 10 gallon water heater backed up by 110 gallons of fresh water stored in 2 segregated polyethylene water tanks.
The cabin is kept warm and dry on those cold rainy trips by forced diesel heat.
Her cockpit is designed for action. Before you leave the dock you will appreciate the easy access to check and maintain her engines under the cockpit floor. When it is time to fish a rugged custom built bait station with wash down and plenty of storage is strategically located in the middle of the cockpit. Rocket launchers are positioned on the cabin roof and sides along with 2 Scotty downriggers to help set and control your lines. When fish are on, an aft steering station helps you bring them in. Once aboard, your daily catch can be stored in a large insulated fish hold. There is additional gear storage is large enough to sleep in.
When it is time to drop a few traps a 44lb claw with 500 ft. of 5/16 chain is available. It is easily managed by a specially designed hydraulic winch system. The custom electric pot puller makes quick work of retrieving your traps and their tasty contents.
When it’s time to go fishing her Twin 370hp Volvo’s give her a comfortable cruise of 26 and top speed of 35 when needed. Her Volvo outdrives with Duo Props are known for better close quarter handling, straight tracking, with faster acceleration and plaining. The drive system is just broken in with a mere 400 hrs. She carries 510 gallons of diesel that give her a 500 mile range so you, your crew or clients can leave the masses of weekend fisherman behind and get to those less fished out areas.
At dock a 30 amp shore power supplies AC and a ProNautic Battery charger keeps her 2 8d starter batteries and twin 8D house battery bank toped up.
When on the hunt her alternators take over keeping the 12 volt system ready and there is plenty of AC power provided by a 5kw Westerbeke generator.
Her Electronics package combines a Big Bay Marine Laptop with Nobel-Tek software supported by Furuno GP-32 GPS to get you to your favorite fishing grounds. A ComNav Commander P2VS autopilot will help to reduce skippers fatigue on those long trips so you are ready to join in the fishing action when you arrive. The clarity of her open array radar will help you hone in on those flocks of feeding birds while the Furuno FCV-620 depth sounder and an Airtech transducer let you keep track of what’s going on below the water line. Communications are built around a Uniden CB and Standard Horizon VHF.
