Haru is a rare recent Catalina 375 and shows in close to new condition. A roller furling main, folding, leather wrapped wheel, white ultraleather interior, inverter/charger and varnished teak cockpit table are just a few of her many upgrades.
This boat is not yet at our docks - please call to make an appointment to see her.
Entering through the varnished companionway doors and coming down the companionway, Haru feels light and open due to her many opening ports and hatches and white ultraleather upholstery. All hatches have screens.
The well laid out galley is to starboard. The galley has ample storage, a generous double sink, Princess two burner stove with oven, a microwave and an Isotherm fridge.
To port of the companionway is the entrance to the aft cabin. This cabin offers a transverse queen berth with plenty headroom at the head, where you need it and a comfy innerspring mattress.
Moving forward, there is a "L"-shaped setee to port around a varnished teak table. To starboard, there is a settee that can be either two chairs with a small table between them or a straight setee for three. Below this table, panels lift for easy access to inspect the bolts which hold on the solid lead keel.
Forward of the salon is the head, which is located to port and accessible from either the main cabin or the master in the bow of the boat. The head is lined in easy to maintain fiberglass and has a nice arrangement with storage and a separate shower stall - no more wiping down the head every time you shower.
Furthest forward is the master cabin. This is a semi v-berth arrangement, with cut ins on the sides of the bed that make it easier to enter and exit, and to make. This cabin has ample storage in drawers and lockers, an opening hatch and opening ports.
Entering Haru's cockpit from her molded swim step, the folding, leather-wrapped Lewmar wheel makes passage forward easy. There are rail seats in each corner of the stern pulpit, beneath the sseats are the Bose cockpit speakers. On the binnacle are a Raymarine C120 multi function plotter, a ram mic for the installed VHF below, Raymarine ST-60 wind and multifunction displays, and the control panel for the Raymarine ST6002 autopilot. The helm is shaded by a Captain's Navy bimini, which has a window to allow you to see the sails. The cockpit benches are deep, offer good back support, and are long enough to sleep on. All lines are led aft to under the Captain's Navy dodger making Haru very easy to sail.
Moving forward along the weather decks is easy and comfortable due to both their width and the fact that the shrouds penetrate the deck well inboard, which also allows for tighter sheeting angles on the job. The decks are finished in grey nonskid. Also contributing to the feeling of security on deck is the fact that the lifelines on Catalinas are higher than on many other makes of boat.
Continuing forward, you pass the roller furling mast and enter the foredeck area, which is easily large enough to store an inverted, inflated dinghy. Farthest forward is the anchor locker, which is divided, allowing you to have two separate rodes ready to go for the two anchors on the double bow roller. A windlass with up and down controls finishes off the anchoring system. forward of the anchor locker is the jib, which is on a furler.
The Catalina 375 is bigger in length and volume than any of the same size comparable models from the other leading manufactures.
