The Nordship 380DS is an extremely popular Nordship model. Easily handled by one or a couple, but also large enough to accommodate a family.
The 360 degree view from the deck saloon adds to the feeling of space and light. As well as the deck saloon there is a second saloon or 'snug' with a flat screen TV. She also has a large galley, chart table, heads (with shower), two double cabins and a huge storage area/workshop.
She benefits from a large social cockpit with a table and seating for 6, as well as the separate helmsman's cockpit where the wheel and all sailing control lines lead.
KATE TOO is an immaculate example, well equipped and upgraded extensively by her current owner. She has recently been professionally anti-fouled, machine polished and even includes a separate choice of upholstery for the main saloon and snug! Please contact us for further information or to arrange a viewing.
The interior is quite staggering for a 38 foot yacht. With a large deck saloon, and a second cosy saloon/snug (with a flat-screen TV) in the walk-way through to the aft cabin, this can also be used as a passage berth. The walk-in cockpit locker/workshop which can be accessed through the aft cabin is another huge asset on the Nordship 380DS. There are two double cabins, one forward and one aft, a linear galley, heads with a shower, and of course the wonderfully light and spacious deck saloon. There is a forward facing chart table with the VHF radio and second autopilot control.
The interior is light and spacious and is finished to an incredibly high standard using the finest mahogany. The galley is well equipped with an oven/grill/2 burner gimballed gas stove, a microwave, a fridge and more storage than you are ever likely to need! That theme goes on through the boat with plenty of storage for long passages. The interior also has low level red safety lights, plus Eberspacher 10kW hot water heating with climate control in each cabin!
The rig is twin spreader, 9/10 fractional, with a mechanical back stay tensioner. The Selden mast and spars are in excellent condition. The boom is fitted with an out-haul, rod kicker. On the mast there is a winch for the jib halyard. The mast has in-mast furling, the main reefing lines are lead back to the primary winch (electric) through pipes in the superstructure in easy reach of the helm. The jib is a furling (Furlex), self-tacking jib, again with the lines leading aft to the cockpit. She also has a spinnaker pole stowed on the mast.
Nearly all the running rigging was replaced in 2014 and all the sails are in excellent condition.
