Leone was first purchased by a Swiss gentleman. When we bought her, we don’t think the beds had been slept on or the oven ever used!
We have been surprised just how easy to handle this big Grand Soleil has proven to be. She is fast and has a nice motion at sea which is typical of Jodel and Vrolijk designs. She has a lovely light but positive helm. She is an excellent cruising yacht that could look good on the race course if the new owner so desired.
Due to the pressure of work, she has done very little in our ownership and we have not raced her. We are very experienced owners having previously cruised and raced in excess of 100,000nm and owing a dozen boats. We are selling her to get a smaller Grand Soleil – sadly, time is catching up with us!
We have polished her hull and antifouled her ready for the new season.
