The first impression of this Sabre 42 is immediately the classic downeast style and beautifully painted topsides and newly varnished toe rails.
Boarding from the beautiful teak swim platform and into the spacious cockpit, you will notice the two built in settees and ample space for fishing or one or two lounge chairs to be laid out on a sunny day.
Up two steps and through the factory installed hard-back bulkhead enclosure, you are nicely protected from the elements with a completely enclosed pilot house able to comfortably seat 6 people in its upper saloon.
With a wet bar to starboard and a settee to port, it provides a very open pathway through the pilot house, blending the exterior cockpit, and interior upper living area before making your way down to the lower living area.
Once you have your hand on the helm, you'll see an unobstructed view of the bow and a beautiful display of new electronics on the dash. The two adjustable Stidd seats located at the helm and nav station offer an added element of comfort when underway.
Lower Living Area
Descending four stairs, you'll find yourself in the main salon with an open L-shaped galley to port, dinette and L shaped settee ahead, and access to the guest stateroom to starboard.
The galley is very well appointed with beautiful Corian counters, below counter SubZero Fridge/Freezer/Icemaker combo, electric stove, and convection microwave oven. Storage is excellent with a nice variety of different sized shelves and drawers, and the space feels very open with direct access to the dining area.
The L-shaped settee with beautiful teak table top is a comfortable place to lounge and watch TV or gather the family for a meal. Clever storage solutions make this space very usable while maintaining the classic aesthetic expected of Sabre Yachts.
To starboard is the guest stateroom with a convertible single or double berth. With a dedicated flatscreen TV and DVD player, this is a very comfortable, private space. This room doubles as a small office area with extra storage if only two are aboard.
Moving forward, the Master Stateroom is located in the bow area. Access to the boat's head is conveniently oriented to allow private access from the master, as well as access through a second door for all other guests. Comfortably appointed, the head has a separate shower with a clever curved sliding door.
The Master Stateroom has a centerline island double berth with great storage. Stepping into the bed is very easy, and you'll find plenty of storage, both hanging and in drawers. Another flat screen TV and Fusion stereo remote complete the entertainment needs of the stateroom, and three opening ports provide great light and ventilation.
As you making your way back through the pilot house you'll find a large floor hatch just aft of the companionway which allows access to the spacious engine room. Ample headspace provides ease of access around all sides to both engines, generator and other machinery. The condition of not only the machinery, but the engine room itself is impressive. The generator looks like new, and the rest of the space is clean enough to eat off of...you will not be disappointed!
