*****June 2016*****Ariane is out of the water having new Interlux 33 applied to a perfectly sanded and primed bottom. The 3 blade Max-Prop is being serviced and all zincs are being replaced. New out of the water pictures added.
April added new photos. She raced in St Augustine Race Week in April with a full crew!
We are very excited to offer this Alubat Cigale 14 for sale here in the US. She is the only Cigale for sale in the US and only one of two Alubat's for sale in the US currently. This is a great opportunity to acquire an Alubat here on US soil!
Very fast and comfortable ULDB designed by Group Finot. Built and customized to owner’s specs by Alubat. First and only Cigale in the USA for ten years. Summer weekends out of Newport and distance cruising from Long Island Sound to Penobscot Bay in Maine. Professionally maintained by and docked at New England Boatworks in Portsmouth, Rhode Island since new.
Stepping aboard she is a very solid open deck feel. She has a very comfortable cockpit with large cockpit table and shelter under the dodger. The decks are open and clean. Aft of the wheel she has a very large "porch" that houses the inflatable with room to spare. Below she is a very spacious 3 cabin single head layout. Down the companionway steps you are at the galley to port and the nav center to starboard. Aft is the very unique and spacious dining table. This table can easily seat 8 and probably 10 good friends. You have a large ports all around the dining table so visibility and lighting are excellent. Behind each fore and aft dining table settee is a very functional pilot berth.
Walking forward past the galley and nav center you have to starboard a good seaway double bed. To port is a double berth with door and access to the shower through a private door. Forward down the hallway is the head to starboard and shower to port both with sinks and mirrors. Forward of this is the v berth with its own door for privacy.
Every space has an opening hatch with shade and screen allowing plenty of light and ventilation through out. The wood is a nice light oak adding to the brightness below.
This is a very clean boat and ready to go. After bringing her down from Rhode Island I can say she is ready to go now!
