Calypte represents the nicest Morris Ocean Series 46 currently on the market. Owned by a very experienced yachtsman and surveyor, Calypte has been updated and improved and is only available due to the owner moving up to a larger yacht. Just having completed her full winter service, she is stored inside heated storage out of the weather where she is easy to see and is ready to be launched for her new owner.
Improvements in the last few years include new sails, new electronics, new cushion covers , bottom stripped, new batteries, etc.

Yanmar 4JH3-TE 75hp fresh water cooled engine (Aprox 800 hours). Engine is flexible mounted with flex coupling and Aquadrive system for vibration isolation. Engine compartment combustion air ducted to a blower and vented through the starboard winch pocket. Dual lever controls on steering pedestal with Cablecraft Teflon lined control cables. Custom engine panel in cockpit includes tachometer, hour meter, oil pressure gauge, water temperature gauge and start button. Electric Engine stop button on engine panel in cockpit. 80-gallon aluminum fuel tank (main tank), all fuel piping with flexible connections where appropriate. Engine exhaust water is looped and vented to the highest point to prevent back siphoning. 1.25” stainless steel shaft with a three-blade MaxProp.
