VICTORIA 5 (V5) is a 2001, Andrews designed TP52 built by Dencho Marine in the US.
Now in the hands of her third owner, she is arguably the most competitive she has even been, with a new full sail inventory from Doyle NZ and her canting keel system well optimised, she is a serious line honours competitor ideally suited to offshore sailing.

Built by Dencho Marine in the US and launched the summer of 2001, V5 quickly established itself as the fastest 52 footer of its time.
Constructed from Carbon/Balsa/Epoxy and to an Alan Andrews design, she was targeting Transpac and ARC race success.
As time moved on, so did V5 with extensive upgrades she is still taking race wins from TP52's designed in 2011, clearly showing the pedigree of this well appointed racer.
2006 Updated rudder blade which gives fingertip control in most conditions.
2007 A new keel fin,bulb and wet box package was added with approx 2200kg bulb +400kg fin swinging though 48 degrees of cant.
The boat weighs approx 6900 kg compared to approx 7300 kg for a standard Tp.
A 2.0 m prod replaced the spinnaker pole which improved boat handling.Improved geometry of gennakers has enabled a larger A2 gennaker .
2013 brand new Rob Shaw designed very efficient replacement Canard.
The hull and decks were repainted in 2015 and the boat looks like a new ship.T
his follows a 2008 refit of deck gear to include Harken Spinlock and custom blocks and jammers.
