Designed by David Thomas and built by Hunter Boats Ltd of Sutton Wharf in Rochford, Essex in 2000.
The hull, deck and superstructure are in white GRP, she has a fin keel with with buld and cast iron ballast, spade rudder and tiller steering in an aft style cockpit.
Hunter has been building boats in much the same way since GRP was in its relative infancy. The hull is in solid laminate, laid up by hand and stiffened by foam filled frames, stringers and robust floors in way of the keel and bulkheads are laminated in place. The deck is solid laminate, padded out with Coremat and reinforced with deck beams.
6 berths in total in 3 cabins including the saloon with 6' of headroom, eberspacher heating in the saloon and aft cabin and the interior is finished in cherry wood and blue upholstery.
Forward cabin has double berth in "V" and a hanging locker to stbd and storage space under the berths and an opening hatch to the foredeck.
The saloon is bright, spacious and well laid out and features a double folding leaf table with centre bottle stowage and drawers and small locker built in. Single settee berths port and stbd with ample storage in shelves above the berths and lockers.
The chart table and navigation station is to port aft in the saloon and also houses the ships 12v electrical system control panel. Folding base hinged seat and chart table with hinged top.
The "L" shaped galley is to stbd aft in the saloon and features a 2 burner gas cooker with oven and grill a stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressurised water from a mixer tap, top loading fridge and ample storage in various lockers and drawers.
The heads compartment is to port aft of the saloon and features a Jabsco manual sea toilet, wash basin with hot and cold pressurised water via a shower head/mixer tap. There is ample storage in two sliding mirrow door lockers and a spacious locker beneath the vanity unit. There is a spacious wet locker aft in the heads with a hinged wooden door.
Double aft cabin is to stbd with very spacious thwartships double berth, hanging locker and cushioned seat. Good access to the aft part of the engine.
Powered by a Yanmar 2GM20 18hp inboard 2 cylinder marine diesel engine with fresh water cooling and shaft drive to a 3 blade Kiwi feathering prop.
The 12v ships electrical system is powered by 3 batteries in total.
Fractional sloop rigged with aluminium mast and boom by Z Spars and single aft swept spreaders supported by stainless steel standing rigging.
Easily navigated wide sidedecks lead to the spacious foredeck which is all secured by a stainless steel pulpit, alloy stanchions and double stainless steel guardwires and stainless steel quarter pushpits. The current owner has added boarding gates port and stbd.
