The aft deck features built-in cushioned bench seating with storage beneath, and a fold-away full-size dining table offering folding chairs all made of durable eucalyptus wood (table/chairs fold away to create a wide open space if desired). Dual speakers provide plenty of sound as well.
Extra wide side walkways with 2" hand rails lead to the bow on either side of the aft deck, making for easy no-trip access around the vessel. Lighted steps lead one up from the aft deck to the fly bridge where one finds two new captain chairs, and a large L-shape cushion array. Above the fly bridge one has easy access to the large elevated sundeck which offers a large cushion, side rails, and radar arch. The 1-year old bimini provides plenty of sun shade while underway, and the two additional bridge speakers provide the soundtrack to your voyage.
Moving forward on the spacious bow you will find the 1-year old large bow cushion to stretch out on and relax while at port or on anchor. Also featured on the bow is another 800b davit should one wish to utilize a larger tender (chock support housing lie beneath cushion). Windlass controls located both by the plow anchor and on the flybridge helm make anchoring an easy task (50 feet of anchor chain, and over 150' of anchor rode).
From the aft deck the large sliding door leads you into the salon where you will find an L-shape settee w/ storage beneath, and movable wooden dining table. To starboard lies the galley complete with stainless sink, removable faucet, microwave, Princess oven and 3-burner stovetop. Forward in the salon, to port, is the inside helm station. Large refrigerator, ice-maker, coffee maker, and large freezer remain easily accessible. The forward salon area offers a multi-zone stereo receiver, subwoofer, with blu-tooth connectivity, and wifi smart blu-ray player provides the entertainment to the large flat-screen HDTV. Moving forward in the salon, down the companionway one finds ample pantry storage, multiple drawer space, and a extra-large lower storage space to starboard as one travels toward the two forward staterooms.
This vessel boasts THREE (3) queen size private staterooms, each with their own private en-suite head. A vessel this size that provides this much space and comfort is a rare find, and this vessel does it in smart fashion.
The full-beam private master aft stateroom conveniently accessible from the salon boasts a walk-around queen berth with plenty of drawer storage, three large hanging lockers, three port lights offering ample light and fresh air. The master stateroom also offers a flat-screen HDTV, wifi smart blu-ray player, and large private head complete with electronic vacuflush toilet, large medicine cabinet, and large walk-in shower with seat. The master offers its own zone for air conditioning/heat as well.
The opposite end of the vessel you enter the forward VIP stateroom which offers two hanging lockers, dual side port lights, large top hatch, full-length mirror, and ample dresser space. Also includes large private head complete with electronic vacuflush toilet, and walk-in shower with seat. The VIP offers its own zone for air conditioning/heat (new AC board installed this season).
Amidship to port lies the third queen size private stateroom with large hanging locker, drawer space, top cabinets, and wall-length mirror. Something not commonly offered in vessels of this size is the third private ensuite head also featuring vacuflush toilet, and the option to install a shower head as well if desired. All three heads offer ceiling vent fan. This stateroom shares the main salon's zone for air conditioning/heat (3 zones of climate cintro in total).
Engine room access lies beneath the custom area rug in the salon where multiple floor hatches can be removed to easily access and service the highly regarded twin Caterpillar 3208TA's, 12KW Northern Lights generator, hot water heater, both the 12V and 110V water pumps, dual main engine batteries, and battery charger. Included is a convenient oil and fuel transfer pump (brand new pump this season) array as well. Additional engine room access is available behind companionway stairs.
The twin Cat 3208TA's offer 435HP each, offer easy part and service availability in any port, and cruise you at an economical 30 GPH (around half that of other boats in this size class). The engines have 2050 hours on them, showing no sign of sitting idle for any lengthy period of time, and have been professionally serviced annually by Caterpillar mechanics. Newer items include starboard raw water pump (2 seasons ago), port alternator (last season), new fuel lines on port (last season), new batteries installed this season, and both large house batteries (for use with the Xanthax inverter as backup power source) replaced last season. Full coolant flush, coolant cleaner, and refill with Cat ELC performed at end of last season. Engines and generator are professionally winterized and oil changed at end of each season, and run strong and clean, start-up instantly at the push of the button, and have plenty of life left in them.
Additional recently serviced items include completely rebuilt rudder steering hydraulics/mechanism (2 seasons ago), and rebuilt AC water pump housing and sea strainer (last season).
Onboard electronics include dual Raymarine E-120 classics (bridge unit replaced 2 seasons ago and charts updated as of this season), radar dome, depth, speed, compass heading, rudder position, wind speed/direction and auto-pilot (with remote control) complete at both helm stations. Dual engine room video cameras, as well as rear view camera wired to the E-120 keep the helmsman aware of what is going on at all times. VHF radios at both helm stations, as well as dual Vetus bow thruster joysticks (and bow thruster remote control/lanyard as well). Floscan fuel consumption monitoring system complete the package.
110V outlets are conveniently located throughout the cabin, aft deck, and fly bridge.
As mentioned before, this vessel is the perfect choice for a family (each kid gets their own private stateroom and head, with plenty of room for friends, cousins, etc.), and with a wifi hotspot or cable TV hookup one will always have plenty of onboard entertainment to keep everyone happy in their home on the water. Or if you wish to take the big-loop journey, travel the ICW, or just cruise up and down the hudson (as the current owner primarily does), what better way to do so without breaking the bank both on initial purchase and in fuel costs, and to do so in style and with plenty of room for all the necessary provisions.
We welcome any serious inquirers to see the vessel upon appointment only. The vessel was purchased in 2013 by the current owner who took the jump into large yacht ownership, and the survey obtained at that time remains available to any serious buyer to inspect. Current owner wishes to move further up in size and has sights on other vessels but must sell first. It offered the current owner a relatively low-cost entry into this class of boating, and it can be your pathway into this enjoyable lifestyle as well. The vessel needs nothing, and is literally turn-key for a new owner to enjoy!
