This boat is a modern design with a light, fresh interior, paneled in cherry. Beneteau has provided 9 opening ports and two hatches with screens. In addition, the designer cleverly incorporated a Lexan skylight in the companionway slider. This feature really brightens up the interior with no compromise in the vessel's seagoing integrity. The boat has a midships head with shower stall, a comfortable aft sleeping cabin, nice galley with both a front-opening refrigerator and a freezer, and a comfortable dinette. There is reverse cycle heat/air. The forepeak features a comfortable double berth.
This boat is serviced bi-monthly by a professional dive service, who reports bottom paint and zincs are good. Refrigerator serviced in 2016.
This boat is conveniently located at our docks and can be shown by appointment.Motivated Seller.
The Beneteau 361 is a highly-sought-after cruiser. With a modern hull form, sensible rig, roller furling main and genoa, and 5' draft, she is ideal for the Chesapeake, Florida, or the Bahamas. This vessel has been lightly used and well maintained.
Topside, all controls are lead to the cockpit to simplify short-handed sailing. At the helm is a suite of instruments -- Raymarine chart plotter, autopilot, wind speed/direction, depth sounder. The instruments are thoughtfully protected by a clear, hinged, shield.
To improve the boat's usability, the main and the genoa have roller furling. There is a solid vang to aid in sail control down-wind. In the bow is a power windlass. The boat comes with good ground tackle -- Bruce main anchor with 40' of chain and 200' 5/8" nylon; Danforth secondary; Fortress FX-37 storm anchor.
Below, the benefits of a modern design are evident.
Beginning forward is a comfortable Vee berth in the private forward cabin. Aft and to port is a comfortable settee. To starboard is a convertible dinette. The salon, like the rest of the boat, is paneled in varnished cherry.
Immediately aft of the port settee is a dedicated nav station with a comfortable chair and, unlike many boats in this size, adequate desk space. The 12 and 120 volt panels are here, as well as the Icom VHF and the chart plotter repeater.
Aft of the nav station is a well-thought-out galley. Hot/cold pressure water; LPG range; microwave; refrigerator and separate freezer compartment. There's abundant cabinet and drawer space -- a rarity in boats less than 40'.
Opposite the galley is the midships head, located where the boat's motion is least and convenient to the cockpit. The head is paneled in easy-to-clean white acrylic. It offers a stall shower, vanity, and head.
Aft of the head is the aft cabin, with an athwartships double.
This is a boat that's meant to be cruised and enjoyed!
