A Diamond Sea Glaze sliding door brings you from the cockpit into the main cabin. Immediately to your left is a private water closet with an electric head, large window with privacy covering, and a shower head. There is plenty of knee room for that extra tall buddy. Across from the water closet is the galley with a two-burner butane/electric stove, refrigerator, stainless steel sink and plenty of cupboard space. A 30-gallon water tank, six gallon hot water tank, and nine gallon holding tank serves all your water needs and a five gallon LPG tank serves the stove. A port-side cushioned dinette seats four and converts to a 6’2” double berth at night. The starboard interior helm has a hinged helm seat and a foot rest. The dash has plenty of room to add the extra electronics you may want. Sliding windows on each side of the cabin, as well as a center opening window, all bring in fresh air on warm summer days. In the bow, the v-berth is bright and clean with plenty of in-bench storage for life jackets, clothes or extra equipment. The large bow hatch can be opened to keep you sleeping cool. Removable carpet flooring throughout keeps the cabin cozy on chilly days, but can easily and temporarily be removed if you’d like to be able to clean things up in a jiffy. On cooler days, the forced air hydronic furnace warms you up real fast.
With a full 85 square feet of cockpit room, the molded non-skid self bailing deck gives you and your friends plenty of room to battle the big fishies. This boat model has a full walk-around design with side decks and 24-inch high offshore stainless steel bow railing. There are two four-foot fish boxes conveniently located in the deck. A small ladder gives you easy access to the cabin roof, an optimal place to tie down an inflatable tender. The cockpit helm makes it easy for the captain to stay in touch with what’s going on with the lines. Clean up the day’s fun with the deck wash down system. On your way back to shore at night, the forward-facing spotlight helps you locate those shrimp or crab pots you set that morning.
The power behind this Skagit Orca is provided by her single Volvo Penta KAD-43P 220 horsepower diesel engine with only 539 hours on it. She cruises at 24 knots at 3,000 rpm and has a top speed of 38 knots. Her Duoprop propeller provides quicker acceleration and better fuel usage and handles far better than the traditional single prop. Trim tabs also help with her excellent and smooth performance. This package also comes with a 15 horsepower Evinrude four-stroke auxiliary engine with Sea Star steering on a SysteMatched lowering engine bracket. Two aluminum fuel tanks hold a total of 167 gallons of fuel. For anchoring purposes, she has a 33 pound Bruce anchor on 265 feet of chain and line hooked up to a Lewmar electric winch.
Her AC power uses the standard 30 shore power. For electronics, she comes with a Raymarine GPS and plotter, a Standard Horizon VHF and a Ray Pilot 65 autopilot. Each of her tempered safety glass windshields have an electric windshield wiper on the outside and effective defog windshield fans on the inside of each window.
This boat is a favorite among charter operators who want to take four to six anglers out at a time. She comes with a nice two-axle Tuff Trailer steel trailer with bunks and a spare tire. The 8'6" beam on this model makes her easily trailerable. Call us today and see this boat before someone else scoops her up. This is a value that won’t last long.
