Mid Cabin & Galley
From the bow the cabin is fitted with a large double berth forward, above this an opening hatch. Port lights to either side adding good natural light to this area. To either side a shelf for storage and below the berths 4 large cave lockers. Privacy is provided by curtains. Moving aft and to starboard, the dining area seats four in comfort. This converts to a double berth, above this seating area a rarity in this style of craft is the fitment of large hull windows, these give the entire cabin a superb view to the outside and offer natural light to the cabin. Opposite the dinette, to port, a large and well equipped galley with ample stowage both above and below the worktops which are fitted with sink, hob and microwave. A fridge is fitted opposite to starboard.
A fully moulded unit so easily kept clean and presentable, fitted with marine toilet, sink, shower, stowage, mirrors side window and opening port light.
Access to port aft of the galley with a large double berth with good headroom throughout the access area. Opening port light to the cockpit giving good light and providing additional natural light.
For a 28' craft the cockpit on "Crime Pays" is cleverly designed in the amount of seating offered within two areas. The forward area with the helm to starboard and a L shape seat to port with seating for 4 around a removable table. Aft a further bench seat which folds away, giving access through the deck sole to the engine room. When in use the back rest of the forward seat area reverses enabling 6 to sit facing each other. Access to the decks is to port and starboard via steps, through to the bathing platform with a transom door and through the windscreen via an opening central section.
Flat side decks run the length of the craft from the cockpit, the cabin sides fitted with handrails and forward a sturdy stainless steel pulpit which surrounds the anchor carrier forward. The cabin top and all decks are moulded in non slip finish for safety. The cabin roof acts as a excellent sunbathing and relaxation area for those lazy days afloat.
Accessed by a large lifting hatch below the rear cockpit which once opened gives excellent space for maintenance and access to the ancillary engineering fixtures.
