Luka is the ultimate blend of luxurious accommodation and high performance. Her thoroughbred design by the Farr Yacht Design team combines experience with the fastest racing yachts of the past 30 years as well as sumptuous superyachts conceived to satisfy the most discerning owners.
She was beautifully constructed at Sweden’s Najad yard, which is world renowned for solidly constructed, high quality yachts with excellent detailing, systems access, comfort and safety. A grand four cabin layout — each with its own head and shower — will accommodate two owners and six guests. Her roomy raised pilothouse provides excellent visibility and protection from inclement weather. Above deck, sailing Luka is a push button affair. From the comfort of her spacious cockpit, the winches, anchor windlass, sail furling and retractable bow thruster are powered by the Lewmar Commander hydraulic system.
Luka has recently undergone an extensive refit: rebuilt Yanmar diesel, new electronics, rebuilt/painted spar with new standing rigging, rebuilt furlers, new upholstery, dinghy and outboard, and a long list of other upgrades.
LUKA is not for sale while sailing in Canadian waters.

Whether lying at anchor in a secluded cove or clicking off the miles on a long offshore passage, LUKA's spacious pilothouse and four cabin layout delivers exceptional comfort and living space. Her interior is beautifully finished African mahogany with teak and holly sole and elegant Ultraleather Sand upholstery. Galley and head countertops are tasteful Corian. The large pilothouse windows and opening ports and hatches throughout the yacht provide outstanding light and visibility to all spaces. Storage space was obviously well planned, with large hanging lockers and drawers in each cabin and ample space for spares, stores and cruising gear in the in the forepeak, main salon and galley.
Starting forward, the forepeak cabin and sail locker is a well-conceived space. Accessed either through the forward cabin or by ladder through a large Lewmar opening hatch on deck, the cabin provides ample storage for tools, sails and spares. To port is a work bench, with three large lockers with cupboards above. Below is an additional locker and a set of six drawers. Opposite to starboard is excellent storage for sails and lines. The oiled teak and glossy white cabinets are easy to clean and maintain. A collision bulkhead is located forward and door aft. Four overhead lights and a cowl vent on deck ensure that the space is well lit and ventilated.
Aft and to port of the forepeak cabin is the port forward head. This space can be shared between the forepeak and port stateroom or closed off to only allow access from the stateroom. Surfaces are smooth, easy to clean white fiberglass. A sink with single lever faucet is set into the Corian countertop. The floor is also inset with Corian. A large cabinet under the sink provides excellent storage. The Vacuflush head is located aft and outboard of the sink. Stainless grab rails are outboard of the head and on the aft bulkhead. Two lockers with shelves are also mounted outboard along the hull side and a mirror is mounted on the forward bulkhead. The shower is integral to the space, and the gently sloping floor drains to the center. The shower wand is mounted into the counter near the sink. Overhead, a Lewmar opening hatch with shade, two overhead lights and a deck mounted cowl vent provide ventilation and light. A hull side port is also mounted outboard. The port forward stateroom is just aft of the head. A comfortable double berth is located outboard of the passageway. Two lockers with shelves are mounted on the hull side, separated by a shelf and hull side port with curtain. A tall hanging locker perfect for storing clothes and foul weather gear is located forward between the foot of the berth and the forward bulkhead. Two deep drawers below the berth will swallow large amounts of gear, and additional storage can be accessed by lifting the mattress. Two reading lamps are fixed to the aft bulkhead, and there are two overhead lights. An opening hatch overhead and a cowl vent provide ventilation.
Opposite the port stateroom and head is the starboard forward stateroom with ensuite head. The berth is outboard and two lockers with shelves are located along the hull side and separated by a shelf and Lewmar port. Below the berth, two large drawers provide excellent storage space. There is a large, lighted hanging locker forward of the berth and a bureau aft and inboard at the head of the berth with a drawer and small locker below. An opening hatch and cowl vent above, two overhead lamps and two reading lamps at the head of the berth deliver light and ventilation.
The private ensuite head is just forward of the berth. Two lockers are located outboard along the hull side with shelves above. A Lewmar Ocean port and overhead hatch with screen open to allow ventilation at anchor. There is also an additional cowl vent on the cabin top. There are two overhead lights. A mirror is mounted on the forward bulkhead. The Corian counter with sink and single lever faucet is mounted in the forward outboard corner of the head. Excellent storage is available in a large locker below the sink counter and a cabinet above the sink along the hull side. A Vacuflush head is just aft of the counter. Stainless grab rails are mounted outboard of the head and on the aft bulkhead. The shower is integral to the space, with a wand that retracts into the sink counter.
A short, well-lit passageway leads up three steps to the spacious pilothouse and main salon. To port of the steps below the nav station is a massive storage locker. Immediately to port is the nav station with a fixed Stidd pilot's chair can be raised to allow excellent views from the large pilothouse windows. The wide forward facing nav station table has a lifting top for storage below. An articulating chart spotlight is mounted nearby. A lift top locker is located just outboard of the nav station along the hull side and an additional locker with shelves is located below. A long counter runs fore and aft along the hull side aft of the nav station. There are three lockers with sliding doors above the counter. A bar fridge is mounted below the aft corner of the counter near a cleverly designed locker for bar supplies. Just aft of this locker is a high counter that divides the main salon from the galley.
Across the pilothouse to starboard is a long L-shaped settee upholstered in elegant Sand colored ultraleather. The settee surrounds a beautifully crafted teak and mahogany table which is the centerpiece of the main salon. Two reading lights are located at either end of the settee, and a Weems and Plath clock and barometer are mounted just aft of the mast on the forward bulkhead. To starboard, a small bookshelf is inset into the bulkhead. Additional storage for spares, dry goods, tools and other large items is available below the settee cushions and behind the seatbacks.
LUKA's seven large pilothouse windows create a bright, spacious feeling in the main salon. Six overhead lights and two reading lamps light up the main salon at night. Four opening hatches with screens and shades increase this spacious feeling and add ventilation. There are two additional Lewmar Atlantic opening ports on the aft bulkhead which delivered protected ventilation while under way. Two beautifully varnished teak handrails lead up the five steps to the wide companionway.
A mahogany handrail leads down three short steps near the port side of the companionway stairs to the expansive galley. Corian countertops with mahogany fiddles surround the space on all sides. Forward and inboard is a large two-bin stainless steel sink with an articulating wand, single lever faucet. Below the sink is a large locker with a shelf. Above the counter at the forward end of the galley are four separate lockers with adjustable pegs for customizing dish storage. Under the port side galley counter are three separate top opening refrigerator units, each with separate temperature controls. A large freezer compartment is also located aft of the stove. Three sliding door lockers with shelves provide storage outboard of the counter along the hull side. At the aft end of the port side counter is the three-burner propane stove and oven. The stainless steel liner around the stove compartment creates an easy to clean surface and a locker below provides storage space for large pots and pans.
Aft and to starboard of the main salon is the passageway leading aft to the day head, bunkroom, machinery room and master stateroom. The day head is down three steps immediately outboard to starboard. There is a large locker with shelf long the hull side. The Tecma electric head is directly below. Along the forward bulkhead, a small counter with sink and single lever faucet is located inboard. There is a mirror mounted on the bulkhead directly above. A stainless grab bar is mounted on the aft bulkhead.
Aft of the day head is the bunk room with two comfortable sea berths. There is a large hanging locker at the aft end of the cabin. A berth side table with a locker and drawer above sits on the forward bulkhead near the head of the bunks. Reading lamps are located above both berths, and there are two overhead lights above. An opening port with curtain above the top berth provides ventilation. There is vented storage below the mattress under the bottom berth.
Opposite the day head and bunk room is the main breaker panel with controls for her charger, generator and electrical system. Just aft, a door opens into the large machinery room with excellent access to the Panda 12 kw genset, inverter, charger and hydraulic pumps.
Continuing aft, the passageway opens into the spacious master stateroom. The cabin's king size walk around berth is located at centerline against the aft bulkhead. Two reading lamps are located above. There are two large drawers below at the foot of the berth. Side tables on each side of the berth provide storage in lockers below, and additional lockers outboard along the hull side have shelves for extra storage. To starboard, a reading bench upholstered in cream leather is located along the hull side. A reading lamp and port with drapes are located above. Forward along the hull side, there is a spacious hanging locker. A shelf has space for a television, and has an additional storage locker outboard.
At the forward end of the cabin, a large bureau provides two large lockers with shelves and six drawers. There is a shelf above with a bulkhead mounted mirror. To the port side of the cabin, there is a lift top writing desk with leather seat. A book rack and port are above and outboard along the hull side. Aft of the desk, a reading lamp lights up the space. Forward of the desk is a large lighted hanging locker with shelf above and a smaller locker outboard.
The ensuite master head is located forward and to port of the master cabin. Along the inboard side, a wide counter runs the length of the space. The sink with single lever faucet is located at the aft end of the Corian countertop. Below, a large locker with shelves provides exceptional storage space. Above and inboard are a mirror and opening port. A medicine cabinet is located at the same level on the forward bulkhead. To port is the full size separate shower stall. The molded floor and smooth surfaces make the space easy to clean. A shower curtain runs around the space on a curved stainless track. The removable shower head mounts on an adjustable track in the inboard forward corner. Two large lockers are located outboard. The Tecma electric fresh water head is just aft of the shower stall. Stainless grab bars are aft of the head and along the outboard hull side. A full length mirror is mounted on the inside of the compartment door.
