“Aurora” is a rare well maintained C&C 36 XL. She is well equipped from sails to electronics and has a great layout not only on deck but down below. With two private cabins and a separate stand up shower in the head whether you are extended cruising or just out for the weekend you’ll be living in comfort.
The boat features newer electronics and upgrades including a $10k refit in 2016 which included new engine mounts, engine hoses, heat exchanger cleaning/gaskets, exhaust mixing elbow, new dripless seal, new cutlass bearing, mast removal and inspection including dye penetrant examination of the cold formed heads of the rod rigging.
Are you wondering what the XL stands for? Of the 3 versions of the 36'er the "+" version is for the club racer, the "R" version is for the full-blown racing version and the XL is meant to satisfy the sailors who want "R" performance but with more creature comforts below.
