The Southerly 100 is a comfortable cruising yacht with a lifting keel which is deal for exploring the shallow waters of the East Coast and beyond and is suitable for a drying mooring. She also has an inside wheel steering position in the pilot house below decks.

The accommodation offers six berths in two cabins with 7 ft max headroom. Forecabin with two overlapping single berths. Opening hatch to foredeck. Saloon with C-shaped dinette to port converting to a double berth with settee opposite. Chart table and steering position to starboard. Galley to port with twin stainless steel sinks with hot and cold pressurised water system, 60 litre freshwater capacity, Plastimo Neptune two burner gimballed gas cooker with grill and oven, microwave, crockery and cutlery and a refrigerator. Quarter berth to port aft. Separate heads compartment with marine toilet, shower and washbasin. Blinds to windows. Eberspacher heating system.
Located behind the companionway, Yanmar 3YM20, three cylinder, 20hp inboard diesel engine (new in 2010). Electric start. Seawater cooled. Shaft drive to three bladed propeller. Rope cutter on shaft. Single lever controls at outside helm and internal controls have been disconnected, but are still there. Mild steel fuel tank with 100 litre fuel capacity. Last serviced December 2015. Bowthruster with controls at helm.
Masthead rigged sloop. Silver anodised aluminium deck stepped mast, boom and spinnaker pole. Stainless steel standing rigging (new 2008). Terylene running rigging (new 2012). Slab reefing mainsail with lazyjacks. Furlex headsail furling system. Rod kicker. Lines led aft to cockpit. 2 x Lewmar halyard winches. 2 x Lewmar sheet winches. Lewmar reefing winch.
Built by Northshore Yachts Ltd 1992. Cream coloured GRP hull and superstructure with moulded cream coloured non-slip decks. Cast iron lifting keel and grounding plate. Wheel steering in cockpit and at chart table below, with skeg hung rudder. Self draining cockpit. Teak laid cockpit seats and floor.
