The design of the Pulsifer Hampton is based on the Casco Bay Hampton, a lobster boat built by Charlie Gomes from 1902 through the 1950's. These boats were work boats, designed first and foremost for function, to be used, to work hard, and to endure. This boat has been totally refurbished from stem to stern, the seller has over $44K into it and the boat shows like new. Compare this to a new boat with a base price of $51K and you can see the value! Hand built in Maine by Richard Pulsifer using the traditional strip planking method. These wooden boats are constructed of local white pine, oak, and cedar, hand selected and sawn to Richards specifications. You need to see this boat to appreciate the work that has gone into making her look like new!
