If condition and maintenance are important to you, you'll want to inspect this well maintained Grand Banks 42 Classic yacht.
Her bright work is impressive, her exterior cushions have been updated and she has the rare aft stateroom with center line walk around queen berth.
She has two staterooms, and the aft stateroom has ensuite head with separate stall shower. She has two heads, air conditioner with reverse cycle heat, twin Cat diesels, and a Westerbeke generator. At 8.5 knots she's economical to run burning only 4.5 GPS. And she'll do 13 when she needs to.
She's spacious and roomy with excellent ventilation, and has both pilot house helm and flybridge helm. Her teak decks are in great condition and she's got the gear to daytrip around the bay, great circle loop, or she can do passage making to the islands and beyond.

The Grand Banks 42 Classic is legendary. She's an all round seaworthy performer. She's capable of safe, economical cruising in a classic and sumptuous environment.
This 42 Classic has enjoyed a continuous program of maintenance and sensible, well thought out upgrades by her very knowledgeable owners.
Forward is a spacious VIP stateroom with forward berth. The chain locker is forward of the berth, with storage under and a large hanging locker with pantry cabinet above, and an enclosed head with shower.
Aft and up three steps is the main salon, which includes a lower helm station with full instrumentation, starboard side door, helm seat to starboard with storage drawers and side cabinet under.
Aft of the helm is a dry-bar, followed by L-settee with Grand Banks teak drop-leaf table, opposite which is the port door, refrigeration units with work space atop and even more storage. The settees offer excellent storage underneath. Opposite the helm is the straight galley with all the amenities any cook requires.
Visibility in the salon is excellent for helmsman and guests, and there is a feeling of open, bright spaciousness. The salon, and balance of the interior, is panelled with richly varnished teak, offset by a light laminate, and a varnished teak parquet sole runs throughout the boat. Opening side windows combined with the side doors offer outstanding ventilation or can be closed when the air conditioning or heat is called for.
Aft and down three steps is the master stateroom with the prefered and hard to find centerline queen berth with drawer storage underneath, drawer space to port and starboard of the berth, separate head and stall shower, and custom hanging locker. There is direct access to the cockpit through a companionway hatch over the berth.
Moving outside the high bulwarks, hefty railings, and teak decks all add to the "big boat" feeling of safety and security. The highlight of the GB42 is the enormous flybridge area. The upper helm offers full controls and instrumentation and there is spacious seating and lounging areas for your guests.
