Constructed and launched in 1985, this Hallberg Rassy 94 Kutter is a charming motor sailor which is a departure from the other range of HR yachts, but maintains the high quality build and good design features. The hull reminds of the beautiful lines of traditional Swedish fishing boats, but has a more pronounced keel to aid further to sea stability. The 94 has a fuller hull than other HR designs and a canoe stern and a long keel.
The sail area is moderate for 31 footer, however she sails surprisingly well for her type. She tacks easily even in light breezes without help from the engine. There are HR 94s which have crossed the Atlantic, which demonstrates her good sea keeping qualities and safety reputation. A clean 2011 full survey is available to review for those wishing to come and see this exceptional vessel.
The owners are also prepared to consider part exchange as part of any agreement.
