A Perfect Liveaboard / World Cruiser
The Johan Valentijn designed Endeavour 38 center cockpits are known for their sailibility in heavy weather, along with their amazinglyu intuitive use of space. This boat, in particular, is a shining example of what made Endeavour a trusted brand in coastal and blue water sailing in the 1970's and 80's.
Recent Survey rates this boat as extremely good condition and to have been "very well maintained."
Coming in from the comfortable center cockpit you step down into a large salon with a European-styled circular settee and table, along with another straight settee on the opposite side. The galley lays along the starboard bulkhead and is fully equipped for cruising.
The real beauty of this boat is in the accommodation, as the aft pedestal queen berth is substantial and has it's own head and shower arrangement. Forward of the salon is another B berth that is also quite large, with a cutout V to make the berth either 2 singles or a large double.
The Endeavour 38 Center Cockpit was very well regarded and became known in sailing circles as a full blue-water cruiser that was heavily built and able to take rough seas.
The boat comes with many extras and is super clean. Electronics include Icom Marine VHF, ST400 Autohelm, Autohelm 16nm radar, Pioneer Stereo System, and full NAV repeater setup at the wheel.
Endeavour 38 CC Review from Coustguard Auxiliary Bill Strauss:
"Given how heavy she is she just pounds straight through the waves giving a fairly steady ride. I have had a cup of coffee sitting next to me at the helm throught 8 footers with out spilling a drop..."
"...The interior layout has a lot of pluses, great aft stateroom, great aft head, great galley with huge fridge, standard forward stateroom, standard forward head, very nice nav station..."
