I had to keep reminding myself that I was on a 33' boat as she feels so much bigger. A lovely sleek design with teak decking and a great set up for single handed sailing. The owner has meticulously maintained her with all sails cleaned and serviced at the end of each season and a new engine and bow thruster fitted in 2005. With her racing pedigree she makes for a great cruiser racer and with all safety equipment and a fully fitted galley she is ready to set sail.
Built in Sweden only around 500 of these were made and finished to a very high standard, this boat provides a safe and comfortable cruising experience, and although she has a powerful 7/8th fractional sloop rig and a fin keel, she feels lively but safe.
It had a new engine fitted in 2005 with just 300 hours and a new bow thruster in 2005 which together with the way she has been set up makes for easy single handed sailing. This is a deceptively spacious boat for a 33 footer with a very pleasing interior and an excellent maintenance record. She came 2nd in her class in the 1996 AZAB (Azores and Back) Race and is now fully equipped and ready to go.
