There is definitely something extra special about Bruce King's Ericson 35 MKIII (the MKlll has a deeper draft as well as a double spreader high aspect rig. Although nor designed as a "racer", the 35 sails with racer's efficiency. Note the narrow shroud base. This creates finer sheeting angles and allows a good sailor to ""gitty up and git".
Current condition is a testimony to the structural technology of the Ericson 35 MKlll. This fine example has a very fair hull, (no bulkhead stress points) and a gel coat that is in remarkable condition.
Down below you will find an abundance of teak, fine cabinetry and trim that has the optional interior varnish finish. Note: Cat Problem has had her teak and holly sole replaced/refinished to yacht standards. There is plenty of light with six opening ports, four fixed cabin ports and two "main sized" opening deck hatches.
Cat Problem has the "must have" cruise aboard creature comforts. A spacious head area with walk-in shower stall. The aft U-shaped galley includes a CHG 3 burner range with oven, deep stainless steel sink, great storage for cookware and provisions. A top loading 6 12 cu. ft. insulated ice chest.
