Built by Temple Marine and Yachts of Miami, Florida in 1980, this 39' cutter rigged was built to the famed Sparkman & Stephens Finisterre centerboard yawl design. This owner took down the mizzen mast and installed the self tending cutter rig. She has tiller steering and a hard dodger. The old dodger frame, mizzen mast and boom are on hand. The owners have cruised her for the past 25 years out of Fort Lauderdale but not much since 2012. The boat was repowered with a 45HP Westerbeke main engine in 2001 that starts right up and has a new mainsail that was been used once, folded and stored inside. The boat's headroom, interior spaces and storage are excellent.
The boat is a project in that she needs a lot of work and updating of equipment, but could be an instant live aboard boat for the right person. The owner is elderly and can't use the boat anymore. Asking $18,000, but will listen to a semi-unreasonable offer!
