2,900,000 Thai Baht approximately 82,000 USD
“Gipsy” is a 32 foot Island Gypsy Sedan built in 1980 in Hong Kong. She has a double forward cabin with adjacent electric flush head and a double and single berth in the saloon. The convertible dining table in the saloon seats up to 8 people and her fully equipped galley has a four burner gas hob and oven, a large 12v refrigerator and a single sink. There is a fully protected helm station with integrated plotter, depth and speed display and VHF radio and a drop down 22” flat screen TV. The large engine room is accessed through a floor hatch and has good all round access to the Ford Lehman 120 horse power single engine.
Her aft deck has space for a small table and chairs with a large lazarette locker below. The spacious flybridge seats up to eight guests with a helm station with the same plotter as at the lower helm station and a large dry storage locker forward. With her trawler type displacement hull and a large 3-blade propeller she cruises at a comfortable 7 knots with a range of 800 nautical miles. Her high flared bow and long keel make her a dry and sea worthy boat in heavy weather, and the propeller is protected by a long keel.
“Gipsy” has been well cared for and maintained in lovely condition. She presents in beautiful condition and has a mini ship feel. She is the perfect boat for cruising the region in comfort without breaking the bank.
In 2008 she had a full mechanical overhaul in her owner’s workshops where the engine was removed and rebuilt to ‘as new’ condition and new fuel tanks were fitted. In 2010 she was re-painted from stem to stern and a new electrical system, control panels, batteries, auto-charging system, entertainment system (Fusion), TV (Sony) and inverter, navigation instruments ( Lowrance) and VHF radio (ICOM) were installed. New stainless steel davits were custom made to take a new 3.2 m Hypalon RIB and 9.9 HP outboard motor. Also in 2010 the bathroom was completely renovated with new plumbing and a quality electric head installed. All new cushions and curtains were made and fitted throughout the yacht.
Gipsy has 4 fire exstinguishers, 2 life-buoys, 6 fenders and a powerful electric anchor windlass with both a Bruce and Danforth anchors, 10m chain and 200m rope. She has a shore-power connection and cable with both 12v and 220v outlets, and a hot water system operating from shore-power or from the engine heat exchanger.
The battery and automatic charging system keeps the “ship” and “engine” supply separated, except in an emergency by manual over-ride switch. The ship supply is 450 amp hours in a deep cycle (2 x 225 AH) configuration and the engine supply is from a HD 200 AH 12v truck battery, all new in 2010.
