"On Course" is a great example of a classic Grand Banks with extensive upgrades that include a peeling of the bottom with 3 months on the hard to dry out, then barrier coatings and new bottom paint. Also, within the past year, the hull has been painted from the waterline up to the gunwale (including the fiberglass transom), the main decks (teak removed) and the cabin house. Leaving nothing out, the bright work has been totally renewed, all this making her look like a freshly launched lady for her maiden voyage. Lots more upgrades and improvements included in the spec sheet.
The revered GB 42 Classic is without a doubt one of the most handsome of the production boats ever built. Their dependability and owner loyalty are the reason over 1500 boats were built, spanning 3+ decades. On Course is a testimony to why yachtsmen will go the distance to keep these iconic ladies ship-shape.
