This 62' ketch rigged ferro-cement sailing yacht was home built in 1976 up the River Yar in Yarmouth, Isle of Wight. She was built by a couple of friends who wanted a quick and cost effective way of sailing around the world, with great accommodation for all their friends.
She has been owned by the same two friends for 37 years and many thousands of sea miles later, she is now now up for sale due the lack of use. Her accommodation is very spacious and offers two double cabins forward and aft with heads units, full beam saloon and galley.
Powered by a single Ford 115 hp diesel engine, full walk in engine room with four 12 volt batteries (two domestic and two engine).
Now in need of a fairly comprehensive refit, however if you are looking for an ideal liveaboard or cruising vessel she is for you.
During the build we had Gowan Macalister of Macalister Carvell who followed the build through, he was at the time the guru of ferro cement boats in England. We did nothing without his agreement.
