GYPSY ROSE is an excellent example of this classic motor yacht. She has been maintained and upgraded constantly and definitely shows very well.
Her present owners have used her primarily for cruising the west coast of Florida, down to Key West. With her range and sea keeping abilities, however, she is ideally suited for any type of coastal cruising, from Bahama Islands to Maine and all points between.
The 53 Hatteras is ideal for liveaboard or vacation home use, as well. Buying a boat like Gypsy Rose and keeping it in our marina puts you in a very luxurious location at a fraction of the cost of a condominium in this area.
GYPSY ROSE has the standard 53 interior layout. The forward Guest Stateroom has over / under berths, private head, hanging locker, drawer storage, with an additional drawer storage pedestal and the washer / dryer.
Aft and up to the custom Galley / Dinette area. Aft and down, between doors to the walk-in engine rooms, to the second Guest Stateroom and Owner's Stateroom.
The second Guest Stateroom, to port, features twin berths, hanging locker, drawer storage, flat screen TV and A/C control. To starboard is the Guest Head with dual access stall shower.
Aft to the full beam Owner's Stateroom with twin berths, large hanging locker, drawer storage, TV, A/C controls and a private head with dual access stall shower.
Aft and up from the Galley / Dinette area to the Main Salon, with Lower Helm forward on the centerline, custom helm seat / entertainment center, sliding doors for side deck access, sofa, two occasional chairs, tables, carpeting, wood blinds and overhead teak grab rails.
Aft and out double doors to the fully enclosed, carpeted and air conditioned aft deck area, with wet bar / ice maker, refrigerator / freezer, ladders to Flybridge and swim platform and wing doors to the side decks.
There are 5 flat panel HD TV's aboard. The XM radio / weather is connected into the Garmin system network, so weather overlays on chart plotter (subscriber service), XM (or regular FM or MP3 from iPhone, etc.) can be piped through the entire boat. There are external all-weather speakers on the bow which can be turned on / off and separate volume control at helm. Polyplanar speakers, with individual volume controls, are located in the salon, master stateroom, guest stateroom and galley.
The home theater is set up for the salon, but flipping a switch allows whatever is showing in the salon to feed to all other TV's. The main Garmin chart plotter can display split screens, with one displaying the satellite TV picture and the other showing the chart, radar, etc.
While most boat specific items of interest to a new owner will remain, there are a number of mostly personal items that are excluded - The listing broker has a detailed list.
