This is a unique chance to purchase a project which has been worked on with the utmost skill to this point....sadly the project wont be finished by the current owner. However, the bulk of the work has been completed and there is plenty of equipment with the boat including a brand new mast, spars and rigging. The hull was built around 1973 but she has never been launched she currently sits on a trailer on the owners driveway.
The Morgan Giles 30 has a fine reputation as a graceful sea-kindly yacht which will always look after you in a blow.
TANTRUM needs someone to take her on and finish her in the spirit in which she was started, if you are looking for a beautiful yacht and a bit of a project she is well worth viewing.
There are 5 berths (although the quarter berth looks a little tight) in two cabins. The sea toilet is well plumbed in and has a sliding hand basin above it and a hanging locker opposite. The main saloon has two settee berths and space for a table between them. Aft of the saloon to starboard is the forward facing chart table and quarter berth. The galley is located to port with a sink, space for an oven/grill/hob and plenty of storage. The Brit Sprite petrol engine is situated under the floor between the galley and chart table.
Most of work below seemed well on its way to completion and had been insulated throughout.
A lot of her equipment isn't on-board, so it is not all possible to list:
