“ Diamond Joe" is a well built Bertram International series which means she was also partially constructed in Japan. There are few of these long range capable vessel and even fewer that have the rare upper helm and lower helm option. She features four staterooms total with surprisingly four ensuite heads. Three of the four heads even feature separate shower stalls! The full beam masterstateroom is aft on this flush deck motoryacht and features a walk around king size berth for total comfort. Master stateroom benefits from abundant storage, walk in clothes closet and ensuite head with separate shower stall and ceramic tiled soaking bath tub.. Similar to home there are night stands on each side of the bed.
All the way foward in the bow is a large vee berth for crews or guest which features its own private head as well. Located next to and still inside the crews quarters is a stacked full size Asko washer and dryer. Moving aft to port is another guest stateroom with twin berths as well and ensuite head with shower stall. This head can also be access from the main companionway forward. The fourth stateroom is located directly amidships under the pilothouse helm. This stateroom features his and her berths and split hanging lockers. Located just to starboard is an ensuite head with shower stall as well.
The upper deck or main salon is completely flush from the pilothouse aft to the rear of the salon. The comfortably large aft deck is enclosed with fixed windows on the sides and canvas windows on the stern. The aft area is covered with carpet. This area can be accessed by doors on either side of the boat. The airy salon features an L-shaped sofa and a couple of causal chairs and built in Maplewood custom cabinetry storage and enterntainment center. Updated wallpaper through out, recessed halogen lighting, curtain and blinds. All new counter tops in the heads as well.
The pilothouse, galley and salon has sound deadening ceiling panels through out. There is also updated halogen lighting in the salon, galley, pilothouse, aft salon and passageways. Indirect mood lights in the salon and master stateroom.
The galley is located just forward of the salon and behind the pilothouse helm area bulkhead . It has also benefited from appliance upgrading including the following; Whirpool dishwasher, Frigidaire full-size refrigerator with freezer with custom maple veneer over the doors to match cabinetry. Kitchenaid full size electric stove with oven. A unique cooktop with 2 propane burners and 2 burners that are electric. Full size dishwasher and trash compactor. There is an Icemaker which is located on the aft deck. Galley features abundant food storage.

Vessel has both 12volt DC and 32volt DC. Ac voltage consists of 110volt & 220volt AC systems. Ac amperage voltage is rated at 50 amps . Vessel has a 20 kW Northernlights generator. There are (8) 12 volt batteries total for ships DC voltage capacity. Vessel features an Heart interface inverter rated at 2500w with a link 2000 remote. Remote for the inverter is located next to aft stateroom.
Up forward on the bow is an Ideal electric 12 volt windlass with CQR type anchor. Fresh water and salt water wash down systems. There is a bow roller and anchor for ground tackle. The windlass can be controlled from either helm station. Up forward is a nice trunk cabin settee for seating while underway. There are canvas coverings for the following: winter gray canvas for the upper helm; summer partial cover for the cruising; canvas cover on the bow seat cushions and vinyl seat covers for the upper helm cushions. Upgraded Pompanette helm seats new in 2005 for the upper helm. Located on upper deck aft is a Zodiac hard bottom inflatable with a Johnson 15hp four stroke outboard both new in 2005. Dinghy is lifted with a Nick Jackson pipe davit. The upper helm can be accessed from stairs in the aft deck area. The lower helm area features a centered helm, bench helm seat and a door on each side for access to the wide walk-around side decks. AwlGrip non-skid beige colored "Moondust" decks.
Mechanical & Engine Details
The engine compartment features a walk in door. The engines currently have an estimated 3,800 hours on them. Vessel features 4 fuel tanks one of which is day tank. Located next to the helm is a fuel tank selector switch which measures the fuel capacity in each tank. There are two Torrid 20 gallon hot water tanks for domestic plumbing. Village 280 Gallon per day freshwater maker. Bennet trim tab system on stern.
Vessel has been kept undercover for the last ten years when not cruising. The boat house is also available for purchase as well with the boat. Boat house has a 25' clearance opening so the boat clears even with the mast in the up position! Other primary boat house measurments 70 feet length by 26'3" beam.
All personal items, (Computer Software Licenses) on board during showing: aart work and tools. Buyer should assume all items on vessel not listed on SPECIFICATION SHEET do not transfer to the buyer. Vessel name does not transfer to buyer.
