A beautiful classic sloop, Bonnie Ann is a John Alden design number 992R built in 1973 at Hodgdon Brothers Shipyard of East Boothbay, Maine. Between 1965-1973 only 18 of this design were built. Extremely adored by their owners this design is know for it's classic looks, good speed, and to be a comfortable and safe cruiser. Bonnie Ann is currently in Croatia and awaiting a new owner for her next chapter. She is fully equipped and needs no repair. Installed New Perkins 75 HP Turbo Diesel Engine January 2016.

Alden Caravelle 42 is a classically-styled long keel masthead sloop. The hull, deck and cabin are constructed of hand-laid fiberglass resulting in a strong but light structure. Unidirectional fiberglass cloth is used for reinforcement in high load areas. The deck layout of the Alden Caravelle 42 features a narrow, low trunk cabin and very wide side decks. The cockpit is T-shaped, adequate for all persons aboard. A companionway ladder at the aft end of the saloon leads to a cabin top entrance hatch. The engine compartment is below the cockpit and a starboard galley flank the engine compartment and provides a pass-through to the saloon. The boat has a standard interior layout. Starting from the bow is a large V-berth with filler. Next aft to port is a large head with access from V-berth and salon. Opposite the head is a storage area with bureau and two hanging lockers. The main saloon features port and starboard quarter berths, centerline drop-leaf table, lots of storage and a starboard companionway to the cockpit. The galley is located aft and is equipped with stainless steel sink, top loading double insulated ice box and 3 burner stainless stove and oven. Opposite the galley is a stand up navigation station The interior has many custom cabinets and a first class varnish job on all mahogany and teak woodworking.
