"Julies Triumph II" is the sixth of six Cape 30's designed by Ted Hood and built by Cape Dory in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts. She is built of fiberglass with a full keel and sound construction for coastal sailing and cruising. Her cockpit is large with teak coamings. She is responsive, points well and is extremely seaworthy. New mainsail 2014. Owners widow wants this boat sailed!

Forward Mahogany bulkhead with two doors that provide access to the rope locker. Port and starboard vee berths with filler cushions, ash ceilings with mahogany finished trunk cabin sides. One opening and one fixed ports with a large overhead hatch. There are two drawers and two lockers under the berth area.
The enclosed head is next aft to port complete with a manual marine head, pull out vanity (cold water), shower drain and one opening port.
Main cabin has a traditional table that stores against the forward port bulkhead. This is a folding mahogany table with a drop leaf. Port settee pulls out to make a wide berth; there are enclosed lockers above the sliding mahogany doors providing good storage. Drop bins are located under the lockers. There is a force 10 heater on the port bulkhead and kerosene lamps around the cabin cast a pleasant glow.
Starboard settee also has enclosed lockers above. Berth cushions are covered in a white and green pattern material.
The galley is aft to starboard of the companionway with a variety of storage lockers, drawers and a propane gas range. There is a spacious deep icebox with top cover, sink with cold pressure water and a hand pump. You will find a deep wet locker and a divided dry locker to port.
1978 Volvo MD11C completely rebuilt in 2001. Two cylinder heavy cast iron. Raw water cooled. Volvo transmission, bronze shaft. Columbian style E 3 blade prop, 14" diameter, 14" pitch,. Two 12 volt batteries, 12v lights, breaker panel, electric bilge pump (2006). Courtesy lights on cabin floor, mast light,, spreader light, steaming and running lights.
