Built by Weatherheads of Cockenzie in 1932 as a Herring Drifter and fished in the North Sea until 1979. She was refitted as a pleasure yacht after that by raising the deck to give more headroom below and had an interior fitted. Purchased by present owners in 2003 and given a major refit including all new systems, much new planking and hull work and an engine overhaul. She has been a cruising live aboard home for many years in a very experienced ownership, however age and health are forcing a move ashore.
This is a fine looking yacht in very good structural and cosmetic condition with lots of space on deck and below. Machinery and systems are all in good order and provide everything required for comfortable living and cruising afloat.
Planked in 1.25" Pitch Pine and Iroko, fastened with galvanise boat nails to sawn oak timbers, 2.5" x 5" at 13" centres.
Straight laid Iroko deck, caulked and payed. Over coated with an epoxy cork mix for easy maintenance and complete water tight integrity.
Wheelhouse aft built of Iroko with good all round visibility
Coachroof forward of the wheelhouse with Iroko coamings and laid deck.
Gaff ketch rig on solid pine masts stepped in tabernacles on deck. Varnished wooden booms, gaffs and bowsprit.
Galvanise wire standing rigging to internal stainless chainplates.

Engine room is under the wheelhouse. Passageway through the engine room to the aft cabin, very nicely appointed with a large double berth, hanging lockers and storage cupboards.
